Invention description

A wind turbine designed for the urban and commercial market. It is a horizontally mounted ducted impeller. The novelty of this invention lies in the design of the impeller.The form of the impeller includes specific length to diameter ratios. It uses existing generator and grid-tie technologies and can be manufactured using low-tech technologies. It is also infinitely scalable, size determined by the amount of electricity required.

Operates silently, has twice the output of turbines the same diameter, can be manufactured easily and cost effectively and offers a new aesthetic to wind turbines.
