WORLDWIDE INDEPENDENT INVENTORS ASSOCIATION

W.I.I.A. OBJECTIVES

-    coordinating and developing the W.I.I.A. on international level
-    protecting the rights of the inventors and the intellectual property rights, supporting the inventors for the achievement of prototypes and their homologation
-    promoting the inventions by organizing the attending fairs and expositions on national and international level
-    promoting the inventions on internal and external markets, as well as wining new markets
-    elaborating, supporting, promoting and/or achieving programs regarding the support of W.I.I.A. members
-    elaborating, supporting, promoting and/or achieving programs regarding the support of inventions or solicitors of an invention license
-    the association/collaboration/affiliation with other non-profit legal persons, from the country and/or abroad, for the purpose of achieving the purpose and objectives of W.I.I.A.
-    facilitating the access to information of W.I.I.A. members and persons interested in studies, researches, scholarships, jobs, training courses or current information in the fields of interest for the association
-    performing professional training and specialization courses in the fields of interest of W.I.I.A.
-    editing, supporting and promoting certain works and publications of W.I.I.A. members, inventors or solicitors of an invention license, including publications edited under W.I.I.A. aegis
-    building/buying/renting/obtaining by donation of seats adequate for supporting the W.I.I.A. activity
-    incorporating a club for the meetings of W.I.I.A. members, as well as for their guests
-    militates for the respect for life conditions which the Terra ecosystem offers in an Universe either too cold or too warm for our skin.

WHO CAN BECOME A W.I.I.A. MEMBER?

W.I.I.A. has the following member categories:

1. Rightful members – category composed of authors of inventions, natural or legal persons inventors whose activity objectives are promoting and supporting the independent inventors and the inventions;

2. Associated members – category composed of legal persons registered in the Registry of Associations and Foundations or in the Registry of Patronages who promote the inventions or inventors;

3. Honorable members – category composed of natural persons, personalities of internal and international public life.

HOW TO BECOME A W.I.I.A. MEMBER?

The persons provided in point 1 can obtain the capacity of rightful member by adhesion.

The legal persons provided in point 2 can obtain the capacity of associated member by manifesting the own will, consisting of fill in a registration request, according to the form. The request is submitted to the approval of the Management College, who delivers in the firs session after registration.

The honorable members (point 3) can obtain this capacity at the written proposal of a W.I.I.A. member accompanied by a handwritten request of the solicitor and his curriculum vitae. The request is submitted for the approval of the Management College, who delivers in the firs session after the registration.
The rightful members and the associated members are obliged to pay, within 45 days since achieving the capacity of member, the statutory contribution set by the General Assembly.

THE RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF W.I.I.A. MEMBERS

According to the W.I.I.A. statute, the members have certain rights and obligations.

Rights:
-    to attend the General Assemblies and the working organism of W.I.I.A.; to discuss and to attend the debates of the problems regarding the rights of the independent inventors, the service regarding the promotion of inventions, and others, as well as the good functioning of W.I.I.A.;
-    to benefit from the support and promotion of W.I.I.A. in fulfilling their activities;
-    to benefit from W.I.I.A. representation in the relationships with the public authorities of the country and the specialized entities abroad;
-    to propose activities in the interest of the members according to the legal provisions;
-    to express the deliberative vote if they are rightful members of W.I.I.A.;
-    to benefit from the W.I.I.A. services, paying advantageous tariffs regarding the ones provided for members;
-    to attend the courses, seminars, conferences and other actions organized by W.I.I.A. for the training and professional perfecting of its members.
The obligations of W.I.I.A. members:
-    to respect the provisions of W.I.I.A. statute and the decisions of the management entities of W.I.I.A. and to act in order to fulfill the W.I.I.A. purpose;
-    to pay the annual contribution, under the conditions and on the levels set by the General Assembly of W.I.I.A. members;
-    to inform W.I.I.A. about the problems that regarding the interests of the members, in order to defend them and promote them;
-    to prove an ethic conduct in the reports with business partners.

The W.I.I.A. members have the possibility to be known by active presence in forums, conferences, seminars, workshops and professional debates organized by W.I.I.A.

W.I.I.A. proposes its members a large offer of courses and seminars of professional training, respectively the insurance of quality, intellectual property, labor legislation, environmental protection, etc.

It organizes fairs, expositions, saloons and business forums, economic partnership actions, economic mission in the country and abroad and it supports the participation of traders to fairs and expositions abroad.

9.    Information
It holds and capitalizes, in the interest of improving the business climate, data regarding the commercial incidents regarding the inventions.
It performs data bases including all useful information for inventors in exerting their activity, develops informing, documentation and consultancy activities for business; publishes the Official Bulletin of W.I.I.A. and other information and commercial advertising publications.

10.    Partnerships
Develops with the partners in the public and/or private field services in the member’s interest; it incorporates alone or with partners of the public and/or private field entities with or without legal personality, for the performance of its attributions.

FEES AND CONTRIBUTIONS

The registration fee is paid once and it is identical for all W.I.I.A. members. The amount of the annual contribution differs depending on the geographical area.
The registration fee as well as the annual contribution is deductible.
