It is an undeniable fact that the inventors must be supported by the government and the public

It is an undeniable fact that the main capital of each country includes its working population such as artists, engineers, businessmen, professors, teachers, and lots of other professions. The major desire behind working is making a living out of your work or gaining fame in a national or international level or maybe both of them. For instance, Christian Ronaldo or Lionel Messi, the well-known football players have managed to gain both a good reputation and the wealth due to their outstanding performance. Other than their performance, the public appreciation and governmental support is a major driving force behind their worldwide prosperity. Moreover, the teachers, nurses, doctors or broadly talking all of the working force gain a salary based on which they can make an appropriate plan regarding their future expenditure. There is a group of working population, however, who receive neither intellectual nor financial support from the government or the society despite the substantial role they play in the advancement of technology.Today’s civilization and modernity is indebted to those who have always been tagged as “crazy” people who have gone out of their mind and come up with insane ideas. Yet, those ideas laid the foundation for an updated society to keep up with the cutting edge technologies. This group of people has an eye for detecting the existing problems and they do not stop struggling until they find how to deal with the challenges. They are always a step ahead of time and pave the way for us to live more comfortably. They go through the agony to let us live in sheer bliss. They stay up all the night to let us slumber in peace. All this self-devoted behavior is responded with ignorance. From the grassroots to the official authorities to governmental officers, no one cares about them. The risk taking problem solvers invest all of their money on the development of an idea with a slight anticipation of its commercialization. A future void of guarantee is what has been granted to the inventors by the government or the public.Whereas such trends as fashion, acting and sports are hotly favorable among the young generation, innovative thinking has been pushed to sides. There is a threatening danger that critical thinking may be replaced by less valuable ideas. The older generation is responsible to make the young generation aware of the importance of innovation for the technological enhancement by appreciating the inventors, participating in the invention exhibitions and encouraging their children to come up with the innovative ideas. The government also plays a critical role in the maintenance of the innovative and entrepreneurial spirit. As it was revealed in IFIA worldwide congress, a large share of governmental finance belongs to the inventors from academia while the independent inventors dedicate a vast percentage of inventions to themselves. We expect the people as well as the government to be responsible toward the technologies that accelerates the pace of life for all of us.IFIA urges the United Nation to establish the “Inventor’s day” in order to commemorate the inventors throughout the history.

I agree totaly with Mr.President Alireza Rastegar and we ASSOCIATION of INDEPENDENT INVENTORS - AII from Romania support all activity of IFIA in this regards. Independent inventors and their associations should be funded by governments and civil society.
